This project allows me to regenerate biodiversity by caring for bees using innovative technologies developed by 3Bee. Here you can choose to adopt your hive from a distance and I will take care of it using the best techniques.
Cannizzaro Beekeeping was founded in Caltagirone in the 1980s, driven by a great passion for bees and nature. The company is projected towards the artisan production of monofloral honeys such as Orange, Sulla, Wild Thistle, Thyme, Rosemary, Heather, Eucalyptus and also excellent multiflora honeys produced in the Mediterranean maquis of the Bosco di Santo Pietro Oriented Reserve. We operate in the various phases of honey processing in an impeccable manner, guaranteeing the end consumer an organoleptically exceptional product that maintains the aromas and quality of freshly extracted honey over time. In 2009 we obtained the Organic Certification and the care of the bee families takes place through the blocking of the brood in December, the breeding of male brood in the productive period and the use of natural products such as oxalic acid and thymol. In 2020 we started breeding the Sicilian Black Bee or Apis Mellifera Sicula by converting several apiaries with queens from our strictly controlled and isolated fertilisation fields. In short, we operate with conscience and sensitivity, aware of the importance of beehive products in the diet of each of us, starting from early childhood. This implies a great attention, in the care of the bees, to the blowing of the bees from the honeycomb, the uncapping, the honey extraction, the decanting and finally the potting.
